(I don't think/don't remember if you have to do anything but activate it to make this happen.) When it's active map notes will also auto record the location of every ore and plant that you harvest. Map notes allows you to mark your map with important locations such as quest locations. This is of ultra importance if your a healer. With Raid Assist you see all of the raid members listed just like party members along with their health bars. I don't believe the default Raid window in WoW shows the health status of raid participants. My 2 favorite CTMods are Raid Assist and Map Notes. With the 1.8 update, there was a new CTMod version available the same day as the WoW update. Cosmos took forever to come out with a new version. The problem? After WoW updates to a new version, the mods must also be updated or they break. Initially I used CTMod, switched to Cosmos, then came back to CTMod. I have found them to be mostly transparent and they should no impact on your ability to learn the game.
#MODS WARCRAFT 3 FOR MAC INSTALL#
Big day! I'm finally going over to the WoW side!ĭo you folks think I should just install these mods from the get-go, or will they make it more difficult to learn the game? Okay, the game should arrive in the mail tomorrow. I like it!Įdited by Huntn, 13 October 2005 - 07:58 PM.

Raid Assist is one of the best mods because in a raid of say 20 people you can see them all on your screen just like your party members. It takes a little study to figure out what they do. Select that to verify that all of your mods are the ones you want to be active. When you start the game, there will be a Addons button on the charater log in page.

(Note: each mod sits in a folder that in most cases starts with the name "CT_")

If these folders don't exist, create it/them and place all of the CT Mods into the Addons folder. In the Interface folder should be a folder named "Addons". There should be a folder called "Interface". If the file does not unstuff for you, use Stuffit Standard to open it. Go here: and download the CTMod package, I suggest the core package. You should not have to mess with the terminal. I've tried a couple of times but they don't seem to work. Does anyone have specific instructions for downloading these mods for World of Warcraft to Mac.
